Our group arrived in Rome, a glorious city filled with classic antiques, medieval buildings, Renaissance palaces, Baroque churches, art, piazzas and pizza. After arriving in Rome and settling into the  NHC Palazzo Cinque Centa Hotel, guests moved onto their Private guided City Walking Tour with local guides.

The group enjoyed a delightful "passeggiata" (stroll) through the charming backstreets and hidden gems of pedestrian Rome, taking in the boutiques along Via del Corso and the Spanish Steps. The group was amazed by the stunning sights, including the Pantheon and the elegance of 17th-century architecture, beautiful piazzas, and the Jesuit Church of Sant' Ignazio, along with many other historical treasures!

A MUST-DO when visiting Rome is to toss a coin into the iconic Trevi Fountain, widely regarded as the most beautiful and famous fountain in the world. This magnificent Baroque masterpiece, the largest fountain in the city, features stunning sculptures and intricate carvings that capture the imagination of every visitor. According to legend, if you throw a coin with your right hand over your left shoulder, you will ensure your return to Rome, as well as attract good fortune in your future adventures. The experience of standing before the fountain, listening to the sound of the cascading water, and taking in the breathtaking artistry all around you is simply unforgettable. It’s not just about the coin; it’s about the enchanting atmosphere and the promise of magical moments yet to come!

After finishing the private tour the group headed to dinner and wine at the award-winning Roof Garden Restaurant- located on the top floor of the Hotel Forum. The group experienced international cuisine prepared with that special Italian touch. This panoramic restaurant offered breathtaking views and amazing authentic cuisine.

While dining, guests overlooked the Imperial Forums with the Forum of Nerva directly below. Views stretched from Piazza Venezia to the Colosseum. The Eternal City of Rome was truly at our feet tonight!
